Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have tables? 

We have 18 beautiful 8 ft handcrafted harvest tables that are dark maple in colour, featured below for your reference. They are 8ft long x 3 ft wide and 30" high and can fit 8-10 people per table depending on table layout.   We also have extra banquet tables in 6 ft & 8ft lengths. The banquet tables require a linen. The 6ft and 8ft banquet tables are 2.5 ft wide and 30" high. ​

Do you have chairs?

We have 200 folding dark wood chairs with a black leather style cushion. These chairs are for indoor use only.

Do you have dinnerware? 

We do have dinnerware on site.  Our dinnerware consists of a variety of vintage plates in different designs.  A fun & eclectic way to add to the rustic of the barn.  Featured below for your reference. We also provide wine glasses, water glasses, cutlery, water decanters and tea cups & saucers.

Do you have ceremony arbours?

We have two different arbours. The pond arbour measures at 60" (inside), 70" (outside), & stands 6 ft high. 
The portable arbour (featured in first photo) can go anywhere else on the property or in the barn, & measures 55" (inside), 65" (outside) & stands 90" high.  Both arbours featured below.

Do you have benches for outdoor ceremonies?

We have 18 outdoor benches for ceremony use.  Each bench can sit 7-8 guests. ​

Can we have a fire?

Open flames are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.



Is there electricity at the outdoor ceremony locations?

There is power available at all ceremony locations.

Accommodations


​Aside from our onsite farmhouse rental for the couple, bridal party, family, etc.  there are multiple accommodation options in the area, including airbnb's or hotels/motels.  Sauble Beach is only a 10 minute drive away which provides many of these accommodations in the summer months.


Explore the Bruce also has some amazing recommendations of places nearby, or the popular Airbnb site will also provide short term rentals in the surrounding area.

Transportation


​It is important to consider accommodations/transportation ahead of time for your night. This may mean blocking off rooms at a hotel, providing a bus, and/or contacting a taxi company for hire for the night. We will encourage you to post this information somewhere in the barn, so guests know who to contact.

Exclusions 

​When booking your event with us, here is a list of things that you will be resposible for:

  • Provincial alcohol license
  • Event liability insurance
  • Booking your own vendors such as (but not limited too) catering services, DJ, photographer, coordinator, florist, decorator

COVID-19 Recommendations & Requirements for Your Guests


​On the first day accessing the barn, please provide your guest list with full names and phone numbers for contract tracing. 

As encouraged by the Government of Ontario, that the MC/ or officiant encourages your guests to:
  • Wear their masks when not drinking or eating (i.e. when music is playing/socializing with other guests)
  • Maintain 6 ft distance when possible
  • Respect people in the washrooms, do not wait inside the washroom if both stalls are full, please wait outside the washroom doors.
  • Keep a safe distance at the bar when ordering alcohol
